Root Shoot’s first-ever 6-Year Bottled-in-Bond release celebrates 100 years of Olander Farms and 10 years of Root Shoot Malting, where the grain behind Root Shoot’s award-winning craft malt and nationally recognized American Single Malt whiskey is sown, grown and malted. Six years in the making, 100 years behind it.

This limited Single Barrel release celebrates 10 years of Root Shoot Malting and features original label artwork by local Loveland artist Mallory Cash. The artwork captures the view of Longs Peak from the malthouse window, the same view that has inspired Root Shoot for the past decade.

Malted by Root Shoot Malting and distilled and aged by The Family Jones Distillery in Loveland, Colorado, Root Shoot's first-ever Bourbon is distinctly Colorado while showcasing heritage grain and the Centennial farm that grew it. This 4-Year aged single barrel is the only barrel ever produced and made entirely from grains grown on the Olander family farm, featuring a grain bill of 75% Abenaki heritage corn, 15% Oland heritage wheat and 10% Root Shoot Light Munich malt.

A project that celebrates two of Colorado’s greatest crops, barley and peaches, and the farmers who grow them. Our American Single Malt Whiskey was finished in Palisade Peach Brandy Barrels from Peach Street Distillers.

A spirited collaboration between Root Shoot Malting and Upslope Brewing. Rooted in agriculture and community, our aged single malt was finished in barrels that once held Upslope Imperial Brown Ale – a beer that was also brewed with Root Shoot malts.
